Founded as the “House of Nora Noh” in 1950, Nora Noh was the first brand ever to establish itself in the South Korean fashion market. Since then, it has emerged as a landmark in fashion, capturing Korean women’s minds and elevating their sense of beauty and femininity. In 1979, Nora Noh took a big leap and became the first Korean fashion business to have ever entered the U.S. market. For a period of 15 years, Nora Noh consistently sold its collections to Sak’s Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Henry Bendel, Neiman Marcus, I. Magnin, Bullock’s, and Macy’s.

Nora Noh is now opening a new chapter in its history with its new creative director, Kumra Chung. Kumra is infusing a breath of modernity and is continuing to build up Nora Noh’s 63 years old legacy and value. This coming 2014 Spring/Summer collection is called “Neo Feminine” which captures women’s innate strength softly. Apparel may decorate immediate perceptions and personas, but for the modern woman it must also illuminate the nuances of their complex identity and innate prowess. Nora Noh promotes a concept of being rather than merely dressing. This concept strives to redefine contemporary femininity through a timeless design, vibrant self-assuredness, accomplished details within simplicity, and an understated sophistication.

Through clothes, Nora Noh strives to change the way women think, change the way they carry themselves and make their self-confidence shine.
